Actually ecstasy?

Question

How do you know if you're actually taking ecstasy and that it's not something else?

Answer

Ecstasy usually comes in pill form but there is also something known as liquid ecstasy, which is a different drug all together. There are testing kits for ecstasy designed to find out the purity of the drug and whether it contains a higher level of the active ingredient, MDMA (short for methylenedioxymethamphetamine). However, it's not clear whether these tests are 100% reliable.

One of the reasons why drugs can be dangerous is that sometimes you don't know what they are or what's in them. As a result, you really don't know how the drug will affect you. This means that you could be putting yourself in danger.

Drugs affect people differently, so listening to what other people say the drugs will do isn't necessarily going to let you know how it will make you feel. It's always best to avoid taking anything that you don't know much about. So before you take any drug it is important to know what's in it and to find out more about the effects, risks and the law.
